Three-Step Tax Relief Review
If you are having tax debt problems or need help resolving your tax issue, Tax Relief Advocates offers you a three-step process.
You will first have a consultation with a tax expert from TRA, during which you will meet with them and discuss your tax payments and your current financial situation with them. The purpose of this is to assist your TRA case manager in compiling the data needed to provide you with the best possible assistance.
When you and TRA have reached an agreement on the course of action, the next step is to conduct extensive research on tax audits, after which TRA will begin working on your case on a full-time basis. To do this, you will need to notify the appropriate tax authorities that you have now hired a tax attorney to represent you.
The third step is known as resolution, and it is during this step that the tax professionals at TRA can help you in getting your tax debt and back taxes forgiven as well as represent you in negotiations with the IRS or the state taxation authorities.
Cons

- There is a limited amount of information available online
Limited Online Information
The Tax Relief Advocates website does provide some information about the company’s offerings and locations, however, neither the company’s minimum debt requirement nor the price of its services is provided. To determine whether Tax Relief Advocates is reputable tax relief company and the best option for you, potential clients must consent to a free consultation at no cost to them.
In Summary

If you or a family member need assistance with your tax issues, Tax Relief Advocates is available at eight locations around the country to provide a variety of services such as tax resolution and negotiation. If you live outside one of the eight states where Tax Relief Advocates has offices, you should find a local tax expert who can assist you.
The minimum amount of debt required to work with Tax Relief Advocates or the cost of its services needs to be published on its website. In spite of this, they do offer free consultations that allow customers to inquire about tax debts and pricing before agreeing to continue with the services.

There is a consultation fee so this negates this article. They are fraudulent as noted by most reputable business managers.
I’m curious then why they are rated as A+ by the BBB? I haven’t used this service yet but I am looking into it.

TRA I contracted their services, I don;t know right know, but they are taking too long for mi case, own the IRS about 18k and they charged me about 8K and I hope they are ok. other ways I will be back, writing about them well either way Good or Bad
Talking to the IRS about this program. It is a scam. The IRS you cant reduce your debt by 90 to 95% and ever time I call it says the number is disconnected and when I questioned this they said it was phone troubles. They conaokept calling me to pay them 5 grand to reduce my debt. It’s not possible according to the IRS. Even if you do a hardship relief you still collect interest and penalties. I would not do this till you talk to the IRS better safe then sorry!
